Seedr: Best Zbigz Alternative

I made a post some days back on how to download Torrent files with IDM and i made mention of some websites that let you generate download links for torrent files by caching them into their cloud storage. Unfortunately you'd have to get a premium account to really enjoy this services, some of the sites offers a considerable amount of cloud storage for free users while others just wants you to get a premium account.

Although Zbigz offers its free users 1gb of cloud storage space, the download speed is unbearably slow.

Seedr on the other hand offers it's free users a whooping 2gb cloud storage with unlimited bandwidths and it seems users who signed up with facebook also gets 253gb of cloud storage but there is a catch, accounts like that are infested by ads, this ads tends to interrupt the caching process thus frustrating the users. Only smaller files can be cached quickly and  successfully before the ads starts popping in.

Seedr does not only cache torrent files, cached torrent media files can also be streamed directly from the site, this is one of it's amazing feature that will keep you coming back.

How to use Seedr?

  • Go to Seedr.cc
  • Register with your email or with your Facebook account, whichever you prefer
  • upload torrents or paste torrents magnet link into the 'paste torrent url' box at the top right side of the page.

  • Click on the '+' icon beside the box to start the caching process
  • Wait for it to cache the torrent files then download your files.

You can also try out their Chrome extention. I don't know how it works yet, but you guys can check it out and let us know what you think about it in the comment.
