Xender is the most popular app for sharing files between mobile devices especially between Android devices. Some days ago, Xender was also made available for Windows phone users.
Xender utilizes the smartphone's Wi-Fi, thus making it possible to transfer files between Windows phones and other smartphones such as Android phones or iPhones.
How to Share Files Between Android and Windows Phones using Xender
To get started, launch Xender on both phones and create connection using the Android phone.
Now launch Xender on the Windows phone and tap on the “Android Device” tab, you should see a window like in the image below.
Once you have created a connection with the Android phone, go to the Windows phone Settings>>Wi-Fi, you should see the network from the Android phone there if your Wi-Fi is on.
Select the Android Wi-Fi connection to connect. Once connected, open the Xender app on the windows phone again and the two Xenders should be connect and you are good to go.
